About Stephen Walther

Stephen Walther, our workshop instructor, is a Microsoft Software Legend. He is the author of the best-selling books on ASP.NET: ASP.NET Unleashed and ASP.NET 2.0 Unleashed. ASP.NET 3.5 Unleashed.

Stephen worked as a Program Manager on the ASP.NET team at Microsoft. He was responsible for making the ASP.NET Framework compliant with Web Standards such as XHTML and Accessibility standards.

He has led the development of several best-practices applications for Microsoft including the Community Starter Kit, the Issue Tracker Starter Kit, and the Yearbook Starter Kit.
